Plank Walls

I've posted this picture on my blog several times before, I just love these plank walls and the whole room...

I saw on Perfectly Imperfect's blog yesterday a plank wall they had done and love it, too!

Here are a couple of other cute plank walls I saw on Pinterest.  A plank headboard painted and distressed in different colors would look great, too!

Custom Frames for your Rustic Wedding, Chalkboard for Wedding Signs!

I've been working with Courtney through Etsy on some rustic picture frames to use at a table at her wedding reception.  She wanted to incorporate her wedding colors of peach, ivory and champagne and use burlap, wood and twine which I already use for my frames but she also wanted to use lace - so I found some antique lace and made a bow on the first frame.  If you would like info. on custom frames for your wedding, email me at kbush422@gmail.com or through Etsy!

Here is a very rustic looking chalkboard I will be putting in my Etsy shop soon (when I get better pictures) - which would be great to use at your rustic wedding - to welcome guests, directions, menu...!

My frames are going to be carried in a shop in Nome, Alaska!  Jill is the owner and has been so nice to work with through Etsy.  Her shop is called "A Little Something".  She said that Nome is a huge birding community so here is one of the items she will be carrying, the Love Birds sign!

Here are a few pics from Lauren's booth at Greystone.  She was a customer when I had my shop then when I got booth at Greystone she was working there - now she's newly engaged and this is her first booth but it is beautiful so I'm sure she will be great in this business!

Furniture Coming Soon, Chevron Frames, Head Over Teal!

Here are a few more chevron and striped frames I am putting in my Etsy shop and shops around town.  If you read this blog, you are probably sick of seeing frames but it seems that's been about all I've done this summer! 

BUT, I am getting back into furniture and will be posting pics of furniture soon.  I've been buying up some really cute pieces.   My poor both is pretty sparse at Greystone right now but I will be putting more in there and I will also be getting a booth at Easy Street Resales around Sept. 1 if not before so I'm excited about that! 

I also just got an order through Etsy for frames that will be going into a shop in Louisville, KY.  The shop is called Crush Boutique and it looks like they have some really cute items there so I will be posting more on that soon...

I got an email the other day about the annual Head Over Teal 5K and Family Fun Day at The Preserve in Hoover to benefit the Laura Crandall Brown Ovarian Cancer Foundation (www.thinkoflaura.org).  The event is scheduled for September 15, 2012 and the race starts at 8:00 am and runs until mid-afternoon. They will have food vendors, music, a play area set up for children, as well as the race!  They are inviting local vendors to showcase their crafts and products so I hope to have a booth there, it is a great cause.

Easy Street Resales, Serendipity Sidewalk Sale, Mason Jars for Your Wedding

Easy Street Resales

I've been so busy lately, I haven't had a chance to stop by Easy Street Resales and yesterday stopped in and met Bo, who owns Easy Street along with his wife Rachel.  I took a few pictures - it is very cool with lots of eclectic and unique pieces.  They are located in the Oak Mountain Center off of Hwy 31 in Pelham where e Alabama Outdoors Outlet used to be, next to McAlister's Deli. If you haven't stopped by yet, you should check them out!

Shoppe Serendipity

 Shoppe Serendipity will be having a Sidewalk Sale tomorrow.  They will be serving drinks and refreshments and lots of vendors will have great sales so hope you can stop by!  They also now have a shop phone number in case you need directions, hours..., it is 937-2728.
