Here is a really simple diy project I recently did - I had a lamp with a drum shade but the color on the shade didn't really work so I cut a strip of burlap about an inch wider then the shade then hot glued strips onto the burlap and applied on the seams of the shade and then just tucked the raw edges on both sides. Then I added a vintage brooch and I think it turned out kind of cute!

So if you are looking for a way to display photos for your wedding reception and be able to use afterwards, consider a door or shutter! These are perfect for pictures of the bride and groom as babies or as a couple as they were dating! An old door or shutter is also a cute way to put the initials of the bride and groom - in this pic the initials are on a distressed board or the initials could have an ampersand (&) in between! Doors and shutters are so cute just leaned in a corner in a room no matter what you display on them! If you are interested in pricing on a distressed door or shutter with rustic frames or initial boards, let me know and I can custom make one for you! These would also be cute in your child's room with their photos or initials. (The door in these pics does not have a door handle but I could add a glass one.)
Here are a few items I am working on for dealers!
