Bella Window Fashions

Vicky, Dia and Kim and three friends who are customers at the shop. Vicky came when my shop was across the street and told her friends about it. I have blogged several times about Dia's beautiful home. Kim is the interior decorator who helped Dia on the project but I found out yesterday that Kim also has a window treatment company called "Bella Window Fashions". Here are some pics of the panels she did in Dia's home -- they are smocked silk floppy-top panels and they look great. If you are interested in window treatments for your home, you should give Kim a call. Here is her contact info:

More Customer Pieces

Here are some more pictures of customer furniture. The antique white pieces are going in customer Heather's little girl's room and the turquoise is for Jill who has been so nice and patient after I knocked one of the mirrors over and waited for me to replace it! Over The Mountain Glass did a great job and were very fast.

Pics from My Sister's House

Today I'm posting some pictures from my sister Lisa and her family's beautiful home. The first picture is a rustic server/bar piece she had custom made at Stray Cats in Irondale. The man will custom design and build pieces using salvaged wood and materials. Here he used old beadboard pine for the top and they use in their kitchen.

Dining room table with pottery pieces (which I'll do another blog post on that).

This picture shows her library table with two balusters which she purchased on Ebay and had made into lamps.

Here is her sofa with pillows including monogrammed pillows which is always a nice personal touch. The pillows pull the sofa and rug colors all together.

Here is a side table with a lamp base she painted and distressed and shade (both purchased for $5.00 each at a garage sale) and a painting on easel done by a local artist.

She's an artist so here are some paintings she has done!

The Pioneer Woman

Here is a great website if you haven't already found it. It is Ree Drummond's "The Pioneer Woman". She writes about decorating and many other things but the recipe/cooking section looks wonderful.
