Painted Buffet, MMS Milk Paint

Here are a couple of pictures of a buffet I put in Easy Street - it's by Broyhill and tags still on and is painted in a dove gray!

I saw on Miss Mustard Seed's blog that the milk paint is in and website will go up this week showing retailers and physical locations where it will be sold.  I think she's going to have some really great colors.  Of course the packaging is even adorable!

Painted Piece, Tablecloth as Window Treatments!

Here is a chest I recently painted for Tyler.  New drawer pulls will be added to the bottom part, too.  A fresh coat of paint and new drawer pulls can totally change the look of a piece of furniture!

I've blogged about using shower curtains as window treatments, saw this on Pinterest, this is a tablecloth from Target!  If you find a fabric you really like in tablecloth, shower curtain...and they are too thin, you can just layer them over heavier solid window treatments (your old ones or find some at thrift store) and they will look heavy and expensive!

Great industrial looking piece...

Rustic Wedding Frame, New Items in Easy Street Bo0th, Pallet Board with Quote

Here is a custom frame I did for Jennifer's wedding.  She's going to put baby pictures of her and her fiance and then one of them as a couple!

Here are a few new items in my booth at Easy Street...

Here is an example of a pallet board with quote Stephanie saw on Pinterest and wants to put in her home.  She got married this past year and her husband Matt is going to make the pallet board and I'm going to try to figure out how to get the wording on there like in this pic!

Cute Rooms

I'm putting a great blog on my blog roll list today - The Nester (www.thenester.com).  You see this house a lot on Pinterest and she has great thrifting advice, decorating ideas and tutorials!  (I think two of these pics are not from the Nester blog, just cute rooms from Pinterest.)

Upcycled Frames, Serendipity, Lampshade Embellishment

When I had my shop in Helena, a great customer, Jeanine, had me paint a collection of ornate frames, mirrors, and tin for her daughter's college apt. at Auburn.  Here's a picture of the collection:

That daughter has now graduated from Auburn and Jeanine has another daughter on her way there so Jeanine is "upcycling" the frames and asked me to paint some of them a distressed antique white for her!

Paint is an inexpensive way to recycle and pass items on in the family!

Here are some new frames in my space at Shoppe Serendipity!

Tuesday Morning had these cute lampshade embellishments for sale in their lamp section, I think they were only $7.99!

Here are some other pics from the shop:

Rachel is in the process of opening up an Etsy shop, Easy Street Market, and will be selling items from the shop there (excluding large items such as furniture)!
