Lola B's

I came upon this blog today and loved everything about this house and it looks like it has some Anthropologie touches. It is such a great idea to fill a staircase wall with family photos and you can unify them with same color frames. She's also got some great vintage pieces! I'm adding her to the blog list - Lola B's (kaseybuick.com).

New Dresser/Buffet and More!

Dresser/Buffet/Changing Table - $150 (this piece is missing a drawer handle on bottom rightside drawer - I am looking for one but went ahead and priced as is and will add one if I can find!

It's hard to tell in this picture but here is a piece I painted with my new Annie Sloan chalk paint I purchased from Stacie at Faux Studio Designs. I actually mixed my new blue with another chalk paint I had, Country Grey, and it made more of a frenchy blue/gray. I really do love the chalk paint!

Here are some sweet rustic frames I put in booth, small ones are $8.00 and large one is $12.00!

Buckets of Burlap

I was looking at mysweetsavannah.blogspot.com (Melaine) - it's on my blog roll list and she was showing pictures of a master bedroom makeover on the buckets of burlap blog which I have looked at before but didn't have it on my blog roll list but I'm adding today. I love the rustic mixed with the white bedding and window treatments!

Sometimes it's in the little touches - look how cute the tiebacks are - burlap with crystal chandelier elements!

Customer Pieces Just Finishing!

Here are some pieces I am doing for Kerri and she's having another baby and doing a very smart thing by repurposing some of her existing furniture. She picked out a soft pink for two twin beds which had been green and they actually turned out so cute because when distressed, it showed layers of white paint and green paint then the wood. I also painted the white rocker pink to match the beds for her little girls!

She got a new crib for the baby boy on the way and I painted it a pretty sage green then painted her white bookshelf chocolate brown for his room!

Here is a custom order I just did for Jennifer - she wanted three distressed wood board frames to put pictures of her adorable little girl Cooper!

Here is a white distressed bed I just finished for Emily!

New in Booth Today

These are two adorable french country style side tables with drawer - the first is painted white with a robins egg blue drawer and heavily distressed and aged. The second is painted chocolate brown on top with the bottom painted a taupy gray and the drawer is cream and very aged and distressed. Both pieces are $62.00 each and measure 22" length, 17.5" deep and 31.5" height.

Old child's chair painted a bright blue and distressed $20.00 (As shown in picture, some of caning in seat is loose!)

Petite table painted a pale aqua green blue and distressed. It is missing a drawer so just turned to the side it still makes a cute table - only $20.00! SOLD

Seashells, salvaged, starburst and other trends!

Here are some trends you are seeing a lot of in decorating lately - these great salvaged dolleys and other industrial pieces on wheels used as coffee tables - I know I have seen some of these at Encore!

Starbursts mirrors are very popular now and an easy way to update a room!

Summer is the perfect time to use beach themed decorating using shells - corals are very popular in decorating now!
