Spruce Up Your Furniture at The French Flea!

I finally have a price list for painting services at the shop. Some pieces may vary a little bit in price depending on the piece, but this will give you a good idea. Because the new shop is smaller, I can only take pieces by appointment. For more information or to schedule the service, please call 994-4208.

End Table/Nightstand - $15.00 - $25.00
Small Dresser - $30.00
Large Dresser - $35.00 - $40.00
Tall Chest of Drawers - $35.00 - $40.00
Headboard/Footboard - $20.00 - $35.00
Buffet - $40.00

Smaller pieces are preferred since space is so limited. If you have something not listed, please email a picture and I can give you a price!

CHRISTMAS IN PARIS - OPEN HOUSE AT THE FRENCH FLEA

Now that Christmas is around the corner, it's time to bring in more gift items so coming soon will be more unique picture frames and clipboards, jewelry, cross tile coasters, new and vintage home decor, tea towels, notecards in tied cello bags and possibly some very cute new long-sleeve t-shirts. Gift wrapping is still provided at no charge!

Also, The French Flea will be having an Open House on Saturday, November 20 - the theme will be "Christmas in Paris". Look for "french" refreshments, Paris inspired giveaways and much more! More details to come.

Thinking Outside of the Box!

Today a customer was in the shop looking for a piece of furniture to serve as a bathroom vanity. She is deciding between a sofa table and a ladies writing desk and will just have a hole cut in the piece to insert the bowl. It's a great idea to think of using pieces in ways other than how they were intended - such as using an old door or shutters or ornate mirror for a headboard, using an old ballister or architectural piece to turn into a lamp, or use a long dresser as a buffet!

Tomorrow I will be posting pictures of new pieces in the new shop with prices! I know it helps to see the prices on the blog so look for that tomorrow!

New Shop Opening Tomorrow!

The new shop now has power so it will be open tomorrow from 11:00 - 5:00! The new location is still in Old Town, Helena across the street from the old location at 4048Helena Road (next to Renaissance Salon). Because of the delay in power, it's not quite ready for opening so this won't be an official grand opening, just a soft opening so please excuse the work in progress!
